Geocoin GCC "Dive Caches"

Since the invention of self-contained underwater breathing apparatus in 1943 by Emile Gagnan and Jacques-Yves Cousteau (also known as aqua-lung), the world of underwater exploration has exploded into a flurry of activity.  While there were a number of prior under-water breathing systems, the tank and respirator system known commonly now as SCUBA changed everything.  Suddenly, everyone could potentially train and go explore underwater with an amazing level of mobility never before achieved.  So we shouldn't be surprised then when caching hit the circuit that explorers in our game would set out to begin placing these 5 star caches all over the world in lakes, rivers, seas and oceans so that we could go exploring a far larger world than our land based-game beneath the blue.

The front side of this coin gives a nod to the SCUBA assembly over a grinning skull, gps coords and crossed trident of Poseidon, the god of waters fresh and salt.  Over head we created a fun, modified version of the standard cache with a cool blue lid for these very special caches.  The reverse side shows the universal dive flag colors built into a dive gauge background (complete with pressure and temps) with a diver, free-diver and various aquatic life roaming about.  With the quickly increasing interest in exploring new territory exciting adventures await below the surface for 5-star cachers willing to dive deep!
